Hyundai to Open New Test Centre in Telangana

To attract investment to the state, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has been promoting Telangana’s investment opportunities in the US and South Korea.
During his visit to South Korea, he met with officials from Hyundai to extend an invitation for investments in Telangana.
Following a successful discussion, Hyundai Motors’ Indian arm has decided to establish a new test centre, which will include an automotive test track and a car manufacturing plant.
The new facility will also focus on manufacturing electric cars.
The test center will be set up through Hyundai Motor India Engineering (HMIE) and is expected to generate several direct and indirect employment opportunities.
Additionally, HMIE will modernise its existing engineering center in Hyderabad.
